Rodney Montague is an accomplished Visual Effects Producer and Production Executive whose career spans more than three decades across feature films, episodic television, and high-end digital media. With a track record of leading large-scale VFX pipelines from script to screen, Rodney has collaborated with the world’s top studios—including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Walden Media, Lucasfilm, and Rhythm & Hues—delivering visually compelling content for global audiences.
Rodney began his career in media and production with roles in business development and title coordination before transitioning into producing for film, television, and digital companies throughout the 1990s. His early producing credits include feature films such as On the Board(HBO, 2002) and Mother Ghost where he guided production from development through post.
As a Visual Effects Producer, Rodney has managed complex VFX units on both domestic and international productions, overseeing on-set photography, budgeting, vendor supervision, and delivery for high-profile titles including Walk Hard , Nim’s Island, Mummy 3 , Inglourious Basterds Your Highness and Fast & Furious 8. His work has consistently supported the creative and technical vision of directors and studios while ensuring seamless integration of VFX across marketing and final picture.
From 2017 to 2020, Rodney served as Vice President of Production at Rhythm & Hues, producing VFX for major studio features such as Hellboy and The King’s Man. He has since contributed to widely acclaimed television series—including Ted Lasso The Terminal List, Star Trek: Picard and Obi-Wan Kenobi—during his tenure at Barnstorm VFX. In 2022, he consulted for Lucasfilm, managing a database of more than 5,000 VFX shots for Skeleton Crew.
Most recently, as Senior VFX Producer at Pixelworks, Inc., Rodney led high-frame-rate visual effects production for major releases such as Argylle, Godzilla x Kong and Kung Fu Panda 4. He continues to expand his global footprint as a Visual Effects Producer with 5 Elements Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
Alongside his production career, Rodney is an experienced voice actor—working in commercials, animation, and dubbing through AB2 Talent, DreamShorts, and Dramalet—and maintains a fully equipped professional home studio.
